40 Flames AND 1 Fire

The book is titled 40 Flames, 1 fire as a tribute to my 40th birthday. In the famous words of the great E. Badu, I’m an artist and I’m sensitive about my shit.

About the author

A lover of words long before becoming a writer, she spent years finding joy in reading stories, crafting poetry, and exploring the beauty of language. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, her surroundings and life experiences have deeply influenced her perspective and voice.

Though she began writing publicly less than a year ago, storytelling has always lived quietly within her. Poetry and creative writing became a natural extension of her love for literature and self-expression.

When she isn’t writing, she enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations, often guided by her curiosity and appreciation for music, language, good food and good views. As a true foodie and lover of culture, she finds inspiration in flavors, people, life experiences, and the stories that unfold around shared meals.

She writes with heart, honesty, and the belief that words have the power to heal, inspire, and connect people across experiences, cultures, religions, beliefs, and values.
